Hermana,


I saw your cute post on your mission coming to a close... how tender.  I am sure you are experiencing so many emotions.  I am anxious to hear how the week went, and the progress made with those you have been teaching.

I have been preparing my lesson for Gospel Doctrine tomorrow, and I thought of you- Section 73 is awesome as it challenges us to preach the gospel in a practicable way- see verse 4- It then goes on to ask to create patterns for living the gospel and then ends section 73 by telling us to "Girl up our Loins."  What a wonderful challenge for you Emma- Girl up your loins.  Preach the gospel along the way!

Section 75 is also chalked full of instructions on missionary Work- I love it!- READ verse 11.... Love it!

Update:
TLC was so HOT!  So hot it gave me a migraine, and I ended up in bed the moment I walked into the door-YUCK.  All heat aside, this year's team is going to be a lot of fun- cute kids!

I spent the rest of the week deep cleaning the house- cold storage, furnace room, toy closet, kitchen cupboards, and the pantry- I hope it passes your test!  We didn't celebrate much for the 4th- grilled steaks and went to a movie. 

Today, dad and I went to a temple session.  I had a really cool experience that I will tell you about on Monday. 

Tomorrow, we meet with the stake president at 8:45. We have no idea what iti is about...

Good morning sis, 

It has been a busy week as I have cleaned and cleaned. I even whipped my new classroom into shape. I also got to spend a lot of time with Steele. He is sooo cute, and BUSY!

Maleck had hear acclimation last week for football. He ihas been pretty sore. Saturday he dug weeds on the CV. He organized the event himself- shout out maleck.

Dad left for young men’s camp on Wednesday. I am anxious to get home to him! Madsen has been trying to get back on a schedule and prep for law school. Amanda and Stockton have been working so hard in school and all things cat wash.!


I am at seleck and Leydi’s this weekend. Friday night we visited with their neighbors who taught us how to make Venezuelan food- soo yummy. Yesterday we fed the missionaries. One elder is from Argentina and the other from Mexico. It was fun to visit with them. They are working hard! Bella is growing up so fast … I love being a grandma❤️ last night seleck and leydi went a rodeo in Ogden so I got to play with Bella. We played in the water, had a dance party,,,, read so many books, sang songs and cuddled. You are going to love her sooooo much!

Today will go to sacrament with seleck and leyd, and then  I will go to Lehi to hear sister Zavala speak.

It has been a long- short summer for me- I can’t wait to squeeze you.

This is it kid…. I am standing at the 50 yard line yelling…. go go!

Just think in 3 more sleeps you will be snuggled in your bed and I can tuck you in👏😘

I have spent most of the day cleaning and prepping for your return- we are all super excited! Tonight I was going through your bathroom drawers, and I almost cried putting your nail polish away. I am not sure if I can handle all this excitement!

Last week dad, Amanda, Stockton and I picked out stuff for the new house- ground breaking will be soon. I also watched a lot of football- maleck did awesome! Steele and I also had fun hanging out. He is sooo cute!

I had a really cool experience running into Lily’s mom- the spirit totally led me to her. It will be good for us to see her. Maybe dad wvan give her a blessing.

We got away for a bit today and scouted out Beaver mountain so we can go there on the 24th. It is going to be so fun!

Tomorrow I have four farewells and one homecoming to go to…. Not sure how  I feel am going to swing it. 

I can’t wait to hear how this last week has gone. enjoy your last Sunday and P day.

I am so proud of you Emma and I know Heavenly Father is too!

Well today was long but filled with lots of good things. I got my heart rate up to 180 this morning. It literally felt so good. We had goal setting as a zone this morning, cool to see the zone come together and make goals to help fulfill the fathers will. personal study today was good. I am so close to finishing the book of mormon. I really liked Ether 15:34. Just how it refers to doing the lords will, which is something that I am not the best at. Today the lord concecrated our efforts. We got a super prepared refferal who wants to learn more about the book of mormon. And the other one literally ran into us on the way back to our car.  Hey Hermana, Hi there, madsen, maleck, dad and myself are on our way to St. George to Raeghan’s farewell. Notes from Raeghan’s talk-  Song- child of light God knows and blessed each one of us Individually before we came to earth. Raeghan bore testimony of this   we can understand our mission on earth as we come to know Jesus Christ, personally. Personal prayer, church attendance- blessed her life- family and friends blessed her life too! “ what you do during the private times of your life will greater impact how you approach and combat struggle.- elder lBangherter Families are forever- gratitude for temples.
