Emma's Arcadia

 June 1, 2025 Hermana, Good evening. It has been an eventful week. On Tuesday I finished my last contract day. Wednesday was full of errands and a “to do list” including gathering flags and the cemetery with Suzanne and her daughter Annie. I enjoyed walks with Suz, Jaimie and Julene. I also enjoyed two playdates with Steele and 15 basketball games- 7 of which were Saturday- maleck is sooo sore! He has really progressed and is getting some varsity playing time. Tomorrow we are going to Mesquite. He will have 4 games Monday and 4 on Tuesday.  Seleck, leydi, and Bella returns next Monday and Peru. Stockton and Amanda are drowning in school, work, parenting and gardening. Madsen- prepping for departure to law school Maleck- lifting, eating, sleeping, b-ball repeat Dad- it’s the beginning of the month- need I say more!  6 /19/25 SO, I have not journaled this whole week and it is Thursday, so I need to catch up.  We met this guy alvaro in the park. We were sitting in our car, and he asked if we wanted him to take our picture. Lowkey is kinda confusing, but he is cool. He talked to missionaries in the past and everything, and lots of his friends are members. He said we could meet back up with him soon. We put cirilo on date!! July 13th. The coolest most prepared Person ever. The spirit was SOOOO strong!! Like he was smiling the whole time and hna Bennett is starting to get a hold of the whole teaching thing!! Yayayay!  We stopped by to give Rafael and Areceley cookies. Rafael wasn't there. But we sat down, and their daughter also sat down with us for the first time!! They have been taught since February, so this was a big step. Their granddaughter Emily also joined us! They are gonna join us for our lesson on Friday!! We had orientation and it was so long.  June 16, 2025 What is up fam bam.? This week was crazy! Also my dad told me I sound like a Mexican when I speak English now so I'm gonna have to change that and binge watch duck dynasty when I get home. Hahah mentida kinda  - GOT MY NEW COMP! She is from st George! We literally have been having the best time ever!  -everything with ICE is so crazy down here! It has been so hard to find people. Usually, every one is out and about but it's like a ghost town out here. We were just drinking, and we were at a red light and 3 big trucks full of army guys crossed the road. It wa low key kinda scary  -maria is on date for the 29th! Pray for her! She is one of the most prepared people ove met!  June 9, 2025 THE LORD IS HASTENING HIS WORK FR FR -Every Monday we have been going over to teach a part member family where the dad isn't a member. Anyway, he is warming up to us. They are literally the coolest family ever. And the dad, Gerado, finally came to night church yesterday!!!! Oh and... mom and dad they want to come stay with in cedar city becuase it is only 6 hours away, so start practicing you Spanish  -Romario is on date for July 6th!!!  He loves the gospel already. One of his friends served a mission like years ago so he already knows a lot!!! -Our friends right now are literally so goated. Lots of them pulled up to church yesterday and LOVED it. Maria, one of the people that came to church, she literally asked for the members number so she could talk with them about getting a ride.  June 2, 2025 DIOS ES BUENO  -Rafael and Arecely wamt to get married! Let me tell you it was the most stressful lesson ever! But now Araceley just has to get divorced with her husband who she hasn't seen in 35 years. SEND PRAYERS  -WE were doing a bus day and we were just walking in this neighborhood and we asked these people if we could share a message with them and turns out one of them had been meeting with the elders! Maria! She is so cool! She already loves the book if mormon, especially the video! I love when God points us to people like them! -Elder Bassestt from the 70 came to our mission and it was the coolest thing ever! He talked a lot about the alter of sacrafice, and how we as members really need to put everything on the alter  -Went on exchanges in my baby area! Litterally so cool being back.
