Emma's Home MTC was awesome.  She enjoyed doing her MTC sessions at the office with Travis.  She was able to enjoy a few outings with friends, and she even got to go to one of Maleck's basketball games. On Tuesday, she said goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa Weaver, her best friend Lily, and then we gathered around the fire pit at Second East and enjoyed making a memory together.  There is no word like the word TOGETHER! The next day we drove in two separate cars to Provo where Seleck and Leydi (Amanda had to work) joined us for lunch at Zupa's.  We talked and laughed some more, and we tried not to cry.  Afterwards, we went to the Provo temple for pictures and hugs, and little chats with siblings.  I love how our fab five love each other.  A woman there (who reminded me of my grandmother Weaver  said to Emma, "This is the BEST WORST day of your life, but you can do it."             This was a hard moment.  There...

3/8/24 Woke up this morning and all my companions were gone. Honestly so sad. Goodbyes are literally the worst. On the way to the airport right now and we are riding the train! So that is super cool! Made some new friends! They are super nice and they are headed to arcadia too! missions are hard and it is kinda scary to be headed to a completely new place. But I know God Will watch over me and my family. Maybe I'll get to see stockton at the airport!! Excited to meet my mission comp and mission president! 3/9/24 Today was very intersting! First full day in the field. It was definitely good but also hard! I met my trainer yesterday, Hermana Pachego, she is amazing! She is from honduras and is seriously the sweetest! I have to drive us around because she does not have a license. So that is super exciting. We spend the first half of the day weekly planning. I was honestly so homesick and cried most of personal study because it is just a big change. Our apartment is small and kind of...

March mission life in the MTC-Journal

3/1/24 Wow, I can't believe it is already march! Time is flying by so fast! Today was just simply amazing. My Spanish gets 1% better each day.I was reading the Book of Mormon in Spanish this morning, and though I couldn’t comprehend much of the information, I was able to get a general idea! The Book of Mormon is just simply powerful, and I am so grateful for my testimony of it. My companion had a little bit of a panic attack this morning, and I was able to be patient and love her. And helping her understand that communication is very important with your companions. You both have taught me so well how to  be patient in tough situations because of the way that you have dealt with me (especially in my teenage years). We also recorded ourselves singing a song with some of the district. One of the elders arranged it and it was very powerful! It is amazing to see the spirit work through each one of us! Me and hermana pace (the 22 year old) are getting along much better. Our person...
