Journal Entries July 7-13, 2025

 7/7-8/25

Ok Monday night we went to visit our fired Maria because we had an idea about how she could get baptized and that was for her just to sleep in her car. Let's just say she wasn't very down for it lol. Then we went and visited Raquel and Gerardo. most stressful lesson of my whole life. We invited him to be baptized and he was just like no I was already baptized, I don't get why I have to do it again. And then Raquel popped off so hard!!! She was like it's because your church doesn't have the priesthood power. SO COOL!! He still didn't get the point sadly enough. 

Tuesday!! Went by so fast thankfully!! We finally got in contact with Romario and he is ready for his baptism woot woot!!!  Then we met this really cool guy Jesus! He has a bunch of family in great that are members. A lot of them live in Saint George lol. He wants to come to church, and he wants us to meet his whole family!!! So amazing. God is good!

7/9/25

What a day!!  We were just grinding so hard. We found 5 new friends and 2 of them were women. That never happens. We literally had so many lessons planned and they all canceled. But it is ok we still had fun. I've started sleeping with my tag because I just super emo lol no worries.

7/10/25

TEMPLE DAY. IT WAS SO GOOD. I was so happy to be there. I feel like I learned so much more about my temple Covenants than ever before. I went in hoping to receive peace that my work was good that I gave to my heavenly father as his missionary. The words spoke to me more than ever before. “It is good” that my Heavenly Father was giving to me the assurance that I did good and served the Lord with my best effort and strives to live the 5 covenants. It was beautiful. They made it a special session just for our mission. The prayer was wonderful. They prayed so very specifically for our mission and our personal needs. I don't remember exactly what was said but that room was so full of spirit, and so many prayers were answered.

We had a lesson with rafael and arecely today and we were trying to get them married so they can get baptized. And arecely really just kept telling Rafael over and over again that he want him to get baptized before I go. Kinda stressful lesson but we made it through.

7-12-25

SATURDAY! I got to have a sleepover with hna wright and spend the whole entire day with her. We were in Bel 1 and it felt like I was living the dream! We had so much fun together. I got to say goodbye to some members and visit some old people I taught! We visited the tzarax family and the mom was at a tent make food from Guatemala and she fed us, and while we were eating, we taught these two random guys all about the gospel and we invited them to be baptized! It was so fun. They said no, but the spirit was strong. We also found this really cool guy on the street and taught him about the gospel and receiving the gift of the holy ghost. He started tearing up and because he loves his family so much who are in Nicaragua. We invited him to prepare for baptism and he said yes! He is going to church tomorrow. We visited this one guy delfino who I taught when I was in Bel 1 last year. And he has been taught by so many missionaries over the years. And we were going to try and have his baptism the Sunday before I leave but no. It was so frustrating. I wanted to cry. But it is ok everyone has their own time I guess. I really just want to have 1 baptism before I leave, but all these people are just not doing the things, and I just want to see one person enter in this week.

Literally such a frustrating day. Our friend Nathaniel said he was gonna come to church but then he didn't. Now he can't get baptized before we leave. 2 of our friends are off the grid. Their families don't even know where they are. We also taught relief society and hat went well. But just a very frustrating da
