Journal Entries July 1- 6th 2025

 7/1/25

lil recap of the last two days…Monday I woke up in such a good mood because I get to see my family so so soon! But I try not to talk about it because it would be hard on my comp, but I am definitely getting so so excited. Monday night we had some good lessons! We met with our friend Walter in the park, and he is just going through it. His family is Honduras and his 5-year-old daughter has a rare disease or something. So, it is kinda sad! But we taught him about the gospel of Jesus Christ and how he said baptism is the way to obtain more heavenly help. I wish I could be bolder in teaching! Then we went to the part member family we are teaching. And dad and Stockton's advice was so so good! The lesson went well. I am just not sure if it is till clicking. Oh, how badly I want it to click. Tuesday was crazy! I ran 3.5 miles, and it felt ok. I am definitely out of shape. President Zavala came and gave us his council. And he started off by talking how we as a zone have stepped out of the boat just like peter, but we have to keep our focus straight on the savior so we can keep being successful! Boy was it powerful. We met with our friend Nathaniel he is still struggling with smoking gosh dang it. And our friend Romario is still drinking coffee. :( So, emo. We need miracles over here. We did a fat ton of finding today too. Hna Bennett wasn’t a fan of it. It has been somewhat of a struggle for me because she just still has her mind in the world, and she has to get it out, because it is holding her back. And can I just tell you she has one big attitude and sass. A lot of things have to her way, or it just doesn’t work. But don’t worry we still get a long! So, we are chilling! Just needed to get it off my chest. Not this fact matters at all but one of my guy “friends” just got home from his mission, and I think this is one of the only boys I have ever really had a crush on and it kind of just through me off, so I went home and read alma 26 to get my head back in it lol.

7/2-3/25

Ok so Wednesday was actually the kindest day ever and I was just soooo exhausted! And all of our lessons ended up canceling on us. But that is ok. It was funny because we went to go be diligent the last 15 minutes of the day to try and find one new friend and immediate when we parked this guy in his car looked at us (he probably thought we were cute and all, but I didn't care lol I was gonna teach him about the bom anyway. So, we made one new friend that night it was awesome! Thursday zone conference! It was weird knowing it was my last one.very bittersweet especially when we all got up to share our departing testimonies. All the people I came in with sister Mclaughlin, sis Williams, jna tischner, amd hna smith. We all just held hands and looked at each other in unbelief that we did it! It was absolutely shocking. I'm not really sure what I said. But all I remember was talking about pioneers and running so lol. Hopefully someone got something out of it. But we ended off the day with some lessons and we went and watched fireworks and took pics hahsh

ok so I need to recap Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So here we go. Friday was the 4th of July! We went running and got locked inside of the track which was actually hilarious. What an adventure. But the 4th of July was good. Just a regular day. Hna Becerril gave us some bussin burgers. She may be Mexican but she sure made some of the best burgers I have tasted in a long time. We had to be home at 7pm so we just did weekly planning and then after nine watched the fireworks outside with all the hermanas! It was super fun! 

Saturday was quite possibly the longest day ever. I have been getting a little bit stressed about the whole going home thing, and honestly just worrying if I gave the lord my all. Like did I do what he wanted me to do. I have felt just a little uneasy lately. But we went and biked Saturday night so that was super nice just to get some fresh air and talk to people, put my mind of things. But we had a lesson with an inactive member named angel. And we went into his house, and he like 3 trump flags hanging up which I just thought it was so hilarious because he is Mexican and he likes trump. Then after we went and had a lesson with our bestie maria! She loves us hahaha! But it is so funny because she just talks to us so much while we are trying to teach her something. she told us how she got to the states and wow, so impressive! 

Sunday, still kinda woke up on the wrong side of the bed, but I am so grateful that I got to take of the sacrament today, it definitely filled my soul. Los robles met for the last time and there were a lot of tears from members! But there is a lot of hope for our friends! We ended the day with a super cool miracle though! We found this family, watched church on line with them and then they told us they want to be baptized! SOOOO cool! we are stoked, God is good!
