Can't wait to hug you both on Wednesday!!! I am sad to leave. This week I didn't really feel a ton of emotions. It was just crazy. And it is crazy that--I'm going home. Doesn't feel real!

 7/16/25

ok so basically it is already Wednesday, and I have not written. I am feeling all the emotions right now and it is so crazy! Tomorrow, I have my final interview with president jones!

Monday: We went to go have a lesson with this one girl natty. We recently discovered this apartment complex where it is just full of Hispanics! So good! But she wasn’t home so obviously our backup plan was to go finding. We met Abel. He is cool. He was just sitting in a corner on a rock on his phone. And once again the spirit guided me to him! It is so cool I honestly don’t remember what the lesson was about all I know is that he wants to come to church with his. And then after him we went to visit Gerardo, Raquel, and Santi like we do every night. And they always feed us so it is like a huge win! But the lesson that night was honestly kind of mid, and they got off topic a lot but it ended off so good, and let me tell you why. We were ending and I was inviting them to do family prayers each night to bring the spirit more into the home. And I was explaining to them about how my parents always had us do family prayer and how it brought the spirit really strongly into the home. And at the end of it Gerardo looked at me straight in the eye and said I respect you so much as a person because of how your parents raised you. I have so many questions to ask your father. Once he said that I immediately testified to him that it was because he was someone who loved God and always tried to keep the commandments of God. It was such a cool experience that I 1. I have never been fueled with the spirit when receiving a complement like that, 2. I felt like I made an impact on this family, and 3. I felt so strongly that my dad might be the missing piece for getting this guy baptized.

tuesday: it was a day full of so many miracles! And it went by so fast!!! we were headed to go visit our friend but instead we felt prompted to go and visit our friend albert. So, we went over and went into his house. His family gave us this drink from Columbia, and it was so good! We sat down with him and his 9-year-old nieve valarie and read the introduction of the BOM. Even though the house was super crazy the spirit was so strong. And we invited them both to be baptized, but Valerie's mom said no because she is a nina. SO, SAD! PERO disputes we went to la familia Ayala! And they are the sweetest we shared a really cool message with them. And then the Hno was like Hermana I want to share some words with you. It really just felt like he was the head of the house time of thing. It was so sweet! I don’t remember exactly what he said to me, but he was like, go home, go to the temple, and when you find a guy you go to the temple, and you pray about it. And then when you have your own kids you must teach them the things you learned here. And then his son Allan was like and don’t stop practicing your Spanish! It was sosososos sweet! They want us to come visit them!

Wednesday:
Busy day! but we still saw lots of miracles like always. We went to the Cabreras house and just called friends with them and then shared a message with them. And then we helped them changes their home screens to pictures of the temples! And mom the hna wants to go with us to Peru. We had a lesson with our friend maria which is always a delight! It was so fun, but we always get eaten a live by mosquitos when we go over. Then we went and had dinner with la familia espinoza! They are so cute! Younger family! they want us to come back and visit them too! They both served missions, so they gave me some advice as well. then we finished the night off with a very strange call with our friend Alain. He is a little odd, we have to be careful with him lol. But we also got in contact with Romario today and he said he wants to still get baptized! and that he is coming to church.

Thursday: such an odd day like I'm not going to lie. I had my last interview with president jones, and it just didn't feel real. He kept trying to get me to ask him questions and I literally just had none. I dint know I wish it went differently. He told me to marry my best friend and we talked about my worth. The only question I did ask him was how to keep the unity with me and my brothers and all he said was to keep reaching out to them. he gave me a blessing, and it was nice. Gave me a lot of comfort. After we went to visit the hna alcaraz and it was sad saying goodbye To her. We also went and said bye to jael. I LOVE HER. She gave me all this life advice, and we just talked for a while. After we ent and ate out with this family from Pasadena. The Hughes. We were probably with them for 2 hours. I felt pretty guilty, but I love them a lot!!

Friday: we had a cool lesson with this girl Alejandra that we met like 3 weeks ago and we finally got a return appointment. 🙌 we taught the whole resto and the spirit was so strong!! After we went and visited our friend marta! She is 70 and just got remarried to an 81-year-old. They are so funny. We talked about the bom with them, and she loved it!!! She gave is pineapple when We left. We ended the night with our last dinner with hna Becerril! It was so sad!!! Because especially I have always felt safe in her home. And then after we went to go get icecream with our friend Albert and his niece valarie! And all 3 of us girls got bubblegum ice-cream!! MY FAVORITES!! It was such a fun lesson! And Albert really likes the book of Mormon

Saturday and Sunday.
I don't have much time to write but these last 2 days Have been so special. I was able to share my testimony with the ward, and it was such a bittersweet moment. Our friends came to church! Romario, Rafael, Nathaniel, Vanessa, Gerardo! It was so good! Said lots of goodbyes and tool lots of photos. I'm going to miss it here so much.
