Oh boy, oh boy!

What a week...

 

☆we got bashed quite frequently this week 

☆we were out knocking one evening and we found a recent converts daughter  She was like, you look like some girls that helped my mom get baptized... do you call yourselves "las misioneras" ? GOD IS GOOD 

☆had our last ZLC  sad to see this transfer come to an end, the missionaries here are awesome...except when they call me short over and over again hahah

☆found out our friend we are teaching was knocking on all his neighbors' doors before Church to find someone who could iron his shirt, now that is dedication  

☆we don't find out transfer news till tonight...let you know next week . BUT  I do have to wake up at like 2 am Wednesday morning to take my comp to the airport, she is going back to England. 

☆are friend Acencion has been coming to church but we are realizing she might have some memory problems, so we aren't sure how accountable she is

☆made papusas with our members...YUMMY 

☆I also got my flight plans today to go home, so that is actually insane

Mosiah 3:19

19 For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father.

Journal Recap

4/22/25

Well today has been an interesting day. I hit 15 months so that is exciting. And I got to talk to my brothers for their bdays!!! So fun!! I miss them. I'm really glad the transfer is almost over because I'm ready for hna Terry to leave. My patience is being tried. But we talked to some cool people is People today. Well actually we just got bashed 2 days in a row. So that wasn't fun. But it is ok. We also were knocking and found a recent converts daughter from a ward in upland! Super cool miracle and then we had a lesson with our friend Jose Antonio. Amd he told us that he was knocking on his neighborhood doors Sunday morning to find someone to iron his short for church!!

4/23/25 Wednesday 

Exchanges with sister zohner! Soo good! We saw so many cool miracles and we also Went to olive garden! We grinded so hard today. 

4/24/25

Today was a good day. I feel like me and hna Terry actually got along. We taught the Plan of salvation to someone on a first contact! So cool! Then at English I taught the restoration To this one guy. And he didn't want to.accept the message but the spirit was very very strong!! We also had a super fun ZLC. The elders bere are so funny, it feels more like a bug friend group. Then we finished the night off by throwing water balloons at the elders. It was hilarious. 

4/25/25

Today was just a very weird day. Me and hna Terry both cried a little. We had roleplays and then we went to a member meal lunch at this very fancy resort. It was delicious. Then we came home really quick and we realized the elders stole our keys and trashed your apartment. And I just wanted to get inside to out on pants. Then we got ice cream and I set in ice cream. Then we had a member meal and the elders just didn't show up because they didn't want to come. Then we went to our friend's house and he wasn't there, we think he might have gotten deported…so we went home and I put on pants. I had a really bad headache all day too. Then we opened the door and our house is just a mess. The elders threw playing cards all over the place. And then we had a lesson with our recent converts. And then I got a text from mom about leave in conditioner At trader Joe's, so we went. And then the ZLs showed up at our house with ice cream and soda to say sorry. 

4/26/25

The elders found a part member family to teach so we went and started off our day teaching them. It was good. We had lunch with our recent convert luis, but something weird happened with him. I'm not really sure. It was kinda crazy. We went and visited some members so hna Terry could say goodbye. Then we made papusasa for dinner with the Sazos!! I love them. I'm so glad we only live 6 hours away. 

4/27/25 sunday 

We had our friends come to church woot woot. Then we went and saw a baptism with one of them. He seemed to like it. He is praying to see if it is the right thing to do. We also had a testimony meeting. And a member from the LA Crescenta stake center came to talk about member missionary work with us. And it was so good. My knowledge grew so much. Plus, his wife is from beaver so that was fun hhahaha.
