November 18, 2024- 300 days as a missionary!

 

BEST WEEK EVER muchos milagros 

-white washing is a blast. Constantly busy 

-We have seen so many miracles. Our friends and recent converts came to church 

-invited pur friend to be baptized during our first lesson with him and he said "how do I do that?"

-this is the biggest spanish ward I have every been in so far in the mission. All the members are literally goated 

-hna zavala and I are literally the same person, so we just laugh all the time 

Alma 5:37-39

37O ye workers of iniquity; ye that are puffed up in the vain things of the world, ye that have professed to have known the ways of righteousness nevertheless have gone astray, as sheep having no shepherd, notwithstanding a shepherd hath called after you and is still calling after you, but ye will not hearken unto his voice! 38 Behold, I say unto you, that the good shepherd doth call you; yea, and in his own name he doth call you, which is the name of Christ; and if ye will not hearken unto the voice of the good shepherd, to the name by which ye are called, behold, ye are not the sheep of the good shepherd. 

39 And now if ye are not the sheep of the good shepherd, of what fold are ye?

What path do we follow? Who is our shepherd? Choose ye this day whom ye shall serve 

11/14/2024

So last 4 days have been crazy. Monday hna gastelum came back to the area and we got to spend time together for the last little bit. We were able to say goodbye to some members. It was actually so sweet. Saying goodbye so the zaida family was so so sad. The 17-year-old gril cried. I ended up giving my soccer cleats to them haha because I don’t even use them. And then Tuesday I spent whole tuesday with hna gastelum, it was so good. And then Tuesday night we had a little movie night with hot chocolate just the two of us. And then we said goodbye to Judi. It was so sad. We both cried. Saying goodbye to hna gastelum was so sad. I am a little worried about hna hansen and gastelum together. They sometimes butt heads. The last 2 days with hna zavala have been so so fun! We are a little overwhelmed with white washing and STLing. Our district seems fun, and the ZLs are really quiet haha. We met some members, and they are so so fun! Like golden members. We need to grind this weekend hahah!

We invite Lucio to be baptized! It was a super long lesson. Hahaha but it was in a baseball park, and it brought back lots of memories. We talked to so many people today it was so fun. Hna zavala is so sore it is hilarious. She can't walk. She almost tripped a few times, and she can talk my ear off. We had our stl training this morning which was good. Gave us some guidance. We are excited. Figuring out the area. It's quite exhausting but it has been a good day. I ate way too much sugar today. We are excited for church tomorrow. We are gonna ask the members if they have a Christmas tree

300 days!!! 300 days since I was set apart as missionary. Today was awesome. We had 2 friends come to church today! And 3 recent converts! And the ward is so big. And so many youth. And everyone is so helpful! And we went finding with a member today! It was so fire. He is a recent convert, and he wore the cowboy hat and boots as we went to the baseball park. It was so fun. We laughed so much today. I also took a fire nap.
