Notes from mom

 September 22, 2024


Hola amiga, 

Hi sis, 

Today was very out of the box. We got home early this morning- 12:30 AM from watching varsity play football in north Sanpete. Maleck got in on a few plays. CV won!  Anyways, I was at the school by 9 to meet the stud gov kids so we could decorate the entry for HOCO- whiteout posters- pretty cool.  We got the car wash on the way home and the. I came home did a few things and the. I met my cousin at 2nd East for lunch( she has been staying with us while attending a retreat here) anyways, we had a good lunch and then she headed home. I stayed and helped for about 3 hours at the restaurant( they have been shorthanded lately) so I barely made it home and was finishing steele’s quilt and doing laundry when dad called and asked maleck and I to go help him at Papa John’s. We were there for about two hours and then we finally made it home. So, I have been doing laundry and dishes and all the things to get ready for Sunday….do in one day I worked at all three of our businesses and did my teaching job too🤩🤩🤩 I am tired!

Not too much other to report. Maleck had a game on Thursday- he played well but needs to get a little more grit! Seleck, dad, and madsen had a good time hunting until the ride home when seleck’s driving scared them all and madsen told home so- oh brother! 

Seleck made it to Peru safe- looks like they are all having a great time. Stockton and Amanda are ready for their cute baby. Madsen has been up and down and all around this week- it’s been hard. Maleck is worked big hard in school and seems to be struggling a bit with social situations. Dad is busy. Papa John’s has required a lot of attention this week! me- I am swell. I love my job, may family…. I am so blessed. 
I hope you got your cookies🩷 from stuck another package in the mail today or should I say yesterday. BTW today marks 8 months for you in the field- way to go. I hope your enjoy my little pink package!I can’t wait to hear about your week. 

I love and miss you so much. I have had some really cool little experiences this week by listening to the spirit. I am grateful.

What a week. 

Monday- Mr. CV- Coulson ohms won- so cool

Tuesday- dad, madsen and I went to Millard to watch Maleck play. He did such a good job.

Wednesday- powder puff

Thursday- maleck played in manti-we won. Maleck played excellent.

Friday- Hoco assembly, tailgate, game( we lost)
Saturday- I actually went for a walk,listened to 4 hours of Book of Mormon/ President neilsen podcasts- so good! cleaned house all day, met DJ Boogieman, set up for the dance, went to the dance - 11:30- home- too tired to sleep.

Sunday- crawled out of bed 9:40- now I am at church-🩷🩷🩷

Family update
Leydi’s family was sealed on Friday. Leydi said it was incredibly spiritual🙏🏻 they return Friday- I think🤞

Stockton and Amanda- still waiting for STEELE. I watch the Georgia Alabama game with Stockton and Amanda yesterday- she is ready to pop!

Madsen- got a new suit- looks so handsome. He went to church today. Still going to therapy. Going to Wyoming next week with dad and gpa hunting. 

Maleck- he got pretty  banged u this week in football.  He is working hard in school and student govt. 

Dad- not very happy with life right now. Business pressures are overwhelming - he is sad., but he keeps going, serving, trying, loving- so proud of him🩷
Me- TIRED- I couldn’t have made it through the week without my student teacher. This week I will catch up on everything I have let go these past few weeks.

I didn’t make it to the temple this week. I am pumped for general conference!

I can’t wait to hear how your week went! You are doing a great work Emma. Keep your head up!

Well today was long but filled with lots of good things. I got my heart rate up to 180 this morning. It literally felt so good. We had goal setting as a zone this morning, cool to see the zone come together and make goals to help fulfill the fathers will. personal study today was good. I am so close to finishing the book of mormon. I really liked Ether 15:34. Just how it refers to doing the lords will, which is something that I am not the best at. Today the lord concecrated our efforts. We got a super prepared refferal who wants to learn more about the book of mormon. And the other one literally ran into us on the way back to our car.  Hey Hermana, Hi there, madsen, maleck, dad and myself are on our way to St. George to Raeghan’s farewell. Notes from Raeghan’s talk-  Song- child of light God knows and blessed each one of us Individually before we came to earth. Raeghan bore testimony of this   we can understand our mission on earth as we come to know Jesus Christ, personally. Personal prayer, church attendance- blessed her life- family and friends blessed her life too! “ what you do during the private times of your life will greater impact how you approach and combat struggle.- elder lBangherter Families are forever- gratitude for temples.
