Hi Everyone,

It’s been a while! Let me catch you up on what's been happening:

We've been teaching so many wonderful people recently! Our friend Jose Antonio finally came to church and absolutely loved it. We also met Acencion, who lives nearby. She's an older woman, so we walked her to church. During Relief Society, she gave a JW blessing to everyone, which the Relief Society president didn't appreciate too much. Currently, we're teaching two different families, and it’s amazing because they all gather around to listen whenever we visit. We also met this guy named Marlin. He is so funny. And when he shakes your hand it feels like he might break it. We shared about baptism with him in our first lesson, AND HE LOVED IT...so stay tuned!

Here’s a little life update:

*   We finally went to the temple! A sweet older couple in our ward, who have become like grandparents to us, totally spoiled us that day.
*   We had zone conference! It was fantastic. We visited a huge Jesus statue in a cemetery, which was incredibly moving. Plus, I got to see some of my best friends: Hna Zavala, Wright, Quispe, Crisostomo, Hansen, and Herbert. Love you all!
*   I hit 15 months tomorrow! Time is flying by so fast. It’s a bittersweet feeling.
*   My companion goes home in a week. It's been a bit of a challenge to keep her motivated, but we’re pushing through—never stop till the finish line!

I hope you all had a great Easter yesterday! It was especially powerful to be a missionary on that day. I also loved studying about Holy Week. It was a new experience for me and gave me some much-needed spiritual momentum. Jesus Christ is just so cool.

I was reading in Come Follow Me this week and I epically liked this part...

"What does it mean to say that Jesus Christ is “he who liveth”? It doesn’t just mean that He rose from the tomb and appeared to His disciples in Galilee. It means that He lives today. He speaks through prophets today. He leads His Church today. He heals wounded souls and broken hearts today. So we can echo the words of Joseph Smith’s powerful testimony: “After the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony … which we give of him: That he lives!” (Doctrine and Covenants 76:22). We can hear His voice in these revelations, witness His hand in our lives, and feel “the joy this sentence gives: ‘I know that my Redeemer lives!’”

I know HE lives, and I know HIS church has been restored. I love being a missionary to have this "set-apart" time to share the buenas noticias.

Les amo mucho

Journal Recap

4/15/25
Today was a good day. We seemed to be running around a lot. I was able to go on a run this morning. So that was super nice. I do better if I can get out of the house quickly. We had a cool miracle where a grey dot called us and said he wanted to meet up with us!!! Also said he would take us out to breakfast. Then we had a cool member lighting visist. We are gonna start doing FHEs in our ward hopefully. Then we had a good lesson with one of old lady friends. She has like over 10 cats. So that is absolutely crazy. She is going through it right now. I got my easter package. It was so fun. I re opened u9 adjusting to missionary life today. And wrote some things in my journal that made me happy. So imma trying

4/16/25
Probably one of my most favorite days fo the transfer. We went on exchanges! I got to go with sister martinue. She is actually 22 years old amd from Oregon. But she takes care of cows at home. Like her herself own 7 cows. It is insane. We had lots of fun. We went ysa finding on Mt sac. It was fun! No one really wanted to talk to us, but that is ok. We also had some fire lessons!!! We invited a family to be baptized and our friend jose again. And they all said yes. We also got brownie patter and chocolate frosties at wendys. So basically the beat day ever.

Recap:
Well it is sundag morning and I have some catching up to-do. Thursday was literally a day of meetings. I'm not quite sure what happened. But it was an interesting day. Friday was zone conference! That was crazy! It was good, me and hna Terry gave a training. We planned it the day before so it could've been better, but people seemed to like it. We also went to the forest lawn cemetery again. Just like we did last year. Crazy to think last year was my 1st zone conference and now I only have 2 left. It was a powerful day. We got to see the Cristis statue there and a giant painting of the day on Jerusalem. Then we had a ward party and I went up to sing. It was very bad. But I did make a friend with one of the girls in the ward. Saturday we had exchanges again. It was a strange day to say the least. I'm not really sure what we did. Kinda feel like a not super good stl at the moment. Soooo yeah. But I have never been more excited to partake of the sacrament.

Easter Sunday.
Nothing too exciting happened today. But we did have 3 friends come to church! And I got to do my studies outside which never happens because my comp doesn't like it. We taught some cool lessons today! Thank heavens! The ward gave us little Easter basket things and yeah, I don't know what else happened really. But I got to talk to my family so that was definitely a highlight. Eating at a white family's home was also super good too. I miss white people food.
