A week full of ups and downs and a Journal recap 2/28-2/23


A week full of ups and downs but it was still super good! Me and my comps enjoy being with each other a little too much, sometimes we get a little too distracted. 


Alrighty some highlights💥💥

♡ We met a lot of cool families this week! A lot of them were found while we were on bikes. It is so cool as we listen to the spirit and do the lords will he shows us where we need to go. 

♡ Saddest part of the week was getting a drop text from our friends that were supposed to get baptized. We don't really understand what happened, we think someone talked to them. But I have full trust in the lord they will come back 

♡I went on super cool exchanges this week. I got to talk some Chinese and helped a companionship make their first friend for the first time in 3 weeks all because I said hi in Chinese hahah

♡ I hit 13 moths woot woot 

♡also found out today that I drew out for the Arizona elk hunt in November and couldn't be more excited 


So I had a really interesting experience yesterday for pstudy we were all talking about the 2nd coming and then I read mosiah 26 and oh my goodness...the day is getting closer to when we see Him. I loved mosiah 26 because really just kinda chastised me into the fact that I need to really prepare for that day and help as many people as I can while I am here, because the clock is starting to run out.  Go read the chapter it is good.

 2/18/25


So actually one of the saddest days of my whole mission. We were able to finally get in contact with andres today, but then he actually just dropped us. I cried. It felt like a breakup but like 10x worse. We all three got on our knees to pray, and never have I ever prayed with so much faith before. And I prayed with Spanish and the words just flowed out of my mouth. Lots of trust in the lord, and I know they will come around sometime 

2/20/25
Wednesday: I had exchanges with sister Skillicorn. You know I didn't know her before, and it was good I finally got to know her. It was a reminder for me not to be judgmental till you get to know you someone. It was fun! We were in her area, and we invited 2 people to be baptized, and they both said yes! And we ate dinner with these two really old people, and it was so so so cute! It reminded me of my grandparents. 

Thursday: such a good day. Woke up and ran 3 miles! And then we were also on bikes! I love bikes! We biked a lot and talked to quite a few people! Me and my comps have had lots of fun together! We even got fed by and hna that never feels the missionaries and she called us her kids. So that was absolutely awesome. We met a family today! And a super cute old couple! And we gave them both and copy of the BOM

2/22/2025
13 months! Woot woot! I can’t believe I only have 5 more months! The time is going by way to fast! Today was amazing! I was on Chinese exchanges, SO i got to speak some Chinese! We started of the day by going to a member's house and he made us the most delicious blueberry pancakes I have ever tasted. They were perfectly shaped and everything. And then we cleaned his house. The area I was in they opened the area, so they haven’t been able to find any people to teach for 3 weeks. So everyday all day is just finding. So that is what we did, bike and find! WE MADE A NEW FREIND TO TEACH! And it is all because I said hi to a guy in Chinese across the street when it was almost dark. It was so fun! And I also learned some new tricks on my bike so it was a pretty fun day I would say!

2/23/25
Well, Sunday was a good day. We had 1 friend come to church, so that was good but also sad. Our recent converts got the priesthood so that was also good. also had stake correlation and one of the people in the stake I really do not like. He just rubs me the wrong way. We had a good dinner together the 3 of us though. Hna smith made it. Chicken and potatoes. Felt like home. Not much really else happened Other than we talked to this guy that believed in which craft and stuff and though his son was possessed. So kinda crazy but fun

Well today was long but filled with lots of good things. I got my heart rate up to 180 this morning. It literally felt so good. We had goal setting as a zone this morning, cool to see the zone come together and make goals to help fulfill the fathers will. personal study today was good. I am so close to finishing the book of mormon. I really liked Ether 15:34. Just how it refers to doing the lords will, which is something that I am not the best at. Today the lord concecrated our efforts. We got a super prepared refferal who wants to learn more about the book of mormon. And the other one literally ran into us on the way back to our car. Finally seeing a little bit of the fruits of our efforst from finding!! Today we had interviews and I didnt cry!!! I talked to sister jones about family history and how the veil is thinner than we know. And president jones it was so good. He is very proud of me.
