Hello, my favorite people- October 28, 2024

 Hello my favorite people 

-had the ward Halloween party it was a blast we went through the haunted house in the basement of the church, and it was actually quite terrifying 

-I found almost a brand-new pair of running shoes at a yard sale for $10. You already know I bought them  

- our cute family we are teaching were gonna come to church but then the grandma cracked her head open at 6:30 am and last Sunday they had tk call the cops becuase the ex husband was going crazy. So anyway. WE NEED YOUR PRAYERS! Liz, Pedro, and Adolfo 

- this week we don't have a car so we will be taking the bus and riding our bikes. Should be fun 

-prezy has promised us if we hit a certain number for lessons each week and we are obedient we will baptize. We are doing our part over here if you all could pray that we can find some prepared people that would be great.

It's crazy how much more you understand the Atonement of Jesus Christ when you are constantly on the Lord’s time. Anyway, I just love how straight forward the scriptures are. And I especially love verse 12 because we gotta have common sense. Use your big brain and repent so you can have eternal life. Love y'all

Also, fun fact! My best friend Lily is coming to California today!!!! We will only be 1.5 hours away from each other!  She's a California girl now. It's sad that I still won't be able to see her though! Comforting to know she is gonna be close though!

So basically, haven't had any time to write in my journal much lately. But that is ok. Monday night we were at a member's house for like 1.5 hours making cookies. Didn't really do much. I'm a little worried usually we make friends during the beginning of the week. But we haven't made like any. Tuesday… 9 MONTHS nothing crazy happened. We had a lit of lessons cancel. So we ended up going to visit a member. Not really sure if it helped her. But hopefully so. Had a lesson with our friend Sonny. He's cool. Then actually had a member meal. We were exhausted hahah. Then our BFF Kimberly called us and she has basically Been ignoring us. But finally she answered and we met at a Starbucks and she bought us some drinks. Which was so nice! And she basically told us her partner might be going back to jail. And she finally told him that she doesn't want to marry him. and then last night me and hna gastelum were unloading the bikes. And we had a good talk the two of us. I am just so grateful she is here. We are pretty close and we kinda just vibe together. I saw her cry for the 2nd time since the time we have been together. She's a very strong girl. And today we have been working at the food bank and basically everyone there was grouchy. Hahah but it's ok. Also I reached out to prez to see if he wants me to reach out to that missionary and he said yes. So, he gave me her info and everything!

10-25-2024

So basically, the last couple of days have gone by so fast and I don’t even know what has happened. Last night we were tryin to visit our friends but everyone canceled. and so we ended up in the park. And we ended up fining our recent converts there hahah! It was like 8 at night and we literally just played on the park with them. We also found out we are going to be carless for a couple of days so we baught bus passes today. triste. Today we we literally planned our week and then went to our ward party where we went into a haunted house and watched the dodgers win their game. It was literally so fun. I haven’t screamed that much in like 9 months. My head kinda hearts. So many memories were made thought! Oh today we also had a northwestern mission wide devotional it was cool. They talked about Joseph Smith. So basically, I am sorry, but I don’t even know what is even happening right now. hahah

10/27/2024

Well. Yesterday was kinda rough but like also not. We had lots of lessons. We visited our friends Liz, Pedro's, Adolfo and Liz got kinda sad. She went to the doctor with her mom and got some bad news. And we stopped by yesterday and she cried to us just worried about things. And It was just cool because we were able to give her comfort through the plan of salvation and Jesus Christ we can help them be comforted. So happy we have the plan of salvation. Also I haven't been driving so that has been super nice! it was a good break. We have a few friends that said they are going ti come to church today so hopefully they come!

So basically, it is the end of the day and I am so happy tomorrow is Sunday because boy am I grouchy and tired. Kinda irritated. Not seeing eye to eye with hna hansen. It's harder to get along with her. But all in all we had 2 friends come to church today and we had the primary program which was super cute!  Missin my family and hunting especially right now. But good thing I have my cow blanket and my dog and turtle to sleep with tonight
