Feliz Navidad Familia- Something I sent to all of my missionary friends

Merry Christmas! As it is the best day of the year to be a missionary I wanted to write an email to all of my missionary friends! I am grateful for you and your dedication to serve our Lord and Savior jesus christ. 

PMG pg 3 states, “You are called to set apart to proclaim glad ridings of great joy, even the everlasting gospel. Like the sons of mosiah, you can teach with the AUTHORITY and POWER of God.” 

How powerful is this statement?! We put his name over our chest everyday to bring souls unto our savior jesus christ  . We have this authority and power for only a short time! HIS power. Don't waste a minute. Keep proclaiming these glad tidings of great joy! You are a successful missionary! ️ thank for your example to me. 

1 Timothy 4:12

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

1 more thing!

Helaman 14:4-9

4 Therefore, there shall be one day and a night and a day, as if it were one day and there were no night; and this shall be unto you for a sign; for ye shall know of the rising of the sun and also of its setting; therefore they shall know of a surety that there shall be two days and a night; nevertheless the night shall not be darkened; and it shall be the night before he is born. 

5 And behold, there shall a new star arise, such an one as ye never have beheld; and this also shall be a sign unto you. 

6 And behold this is not all, there shall be many signs and wonders in heaven.

 7 And it shall come to pass that ye shall all be amazed, and wonder, insomuch that ye shall fall to the earth. 

8 And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall believe on the Son of God, the same shall have everlasting life. 

9 And behold, thus hath the Lord commanded me, by his angel, that I should come and tell this thing unto you; yea, he hath commanded that I should prophesy these things unto you; yea, he hath said unto me: Cry unto this people, repent and prepare the way of the Lord.

Be this STAR , bring people to this knowledge of their Savior! Your friends, members, and people you contact need the light of Christ in their lives (as bright as the new star that shown that very night.) Merry Christmas!  May you find much JOY  this holiday season as you serve! 

 

I can testify that HE LIVES! He loves you so very much! This is His work! And as we strive to fulfill His will we will always find joy! HE is by your side every step of the way!

Hola hola! Merry Christmas everyone! Today is fullday pday!! We have been eating so good the last few days! Even though the homesickness hits a little harder today. I am grateful to be a missionary! A lot has happened the last few days, so here we go!!!!

-I hit 11 months! Can't believe it

-Juan our friend who was in the army for 12 years and almost died 9 times came to church. Let's just say he has a very intersting personality and we aren't sure if the ward really likes him...

-Our ward Christmas party was on crack . Me and Hna zavala danced the night away. 

-Ana (mom) and Adriano (son) are getting baptized this week!! We are super excited for them!! And the other son of Ana is going to baptized them! He has only been a memeber for a few months! 

-The elders won us each a $100 dollars at our family home evening the other night! Best moment ever 

-we have done lots of caroling  

-we had our Christmas zone confrence!!! 

-we had delicious ribs and tamales for Christmas eve dinner   

-at our family home evening we went around the circle and shared something about the savior jesus christ. It was amazing to hear the testimonies of so many members from all over different parts of South America! I love then! And I am grateful for their testimonies that continue to strengthen me!! 

I hope you all enjoy an wonderful Christmas! And that you may remember the best gift of all! Our savior jesus christ! Forget all the wrappings and bows and kneel down before your maker and give him gratitude for everything that He has given us. Without him, this gospel, The Book of Mormon, and the doctorine of Jeus christ none of this would be possible. He lives this very day. For in this day, in the city of David a child is born, and he shall be called Emanuel, lord of lords & king of kings, th Savior of the world.
