 8/19/2024

Wow today was a hard one. But I am grateful for my savior Jesus chirst more today. I hate saying goodbye to everyone especially our friends camilia and Salvador. They both gave me hug haha! And thy both were really sad I was leaving. And then we called our recent converts and had good byes with them. And I said goodbye go the balderas family. So that was super cute. The hermana was crying When I left. And she said that she was praying for me so much when I was first here. And that she was so happy to see me happy the second time around. 

8/20/2024

Wow today was crazy. I said goodbye to about everyone. And I am going to miss hna smith so so much! Never thought I would leave Bel 1 to be quite honest with you. The hardest goodbye today was saying goodbye to ailyn who is 8 years old. I did infact cry. I'm nervous for tomorrow. But I'm gonna have faith is jesus christ. It's a choice. Gotta remember that. He loves me and I have learned so many lessons 

8-21-2024

Wow today was actually crazy! Said my goodbyes to my roomates. We all laid on the floor and sang one last song together. SOSO sad. And saying goodbye to hermana smith was actually so sad. My new companions are so so cool though! they are so sweet and it has been fun because I have just been trying to focus on the good and remember the lessons I have learned! Not much happened today. 8We just had english class. The elders we ward share with are hilarious. There are four of them and they are literally like little boys. I am actually so hyped to be here with them. My apartment is nice. We all 5 sleep in one room with the AC so that is super funny. And we live with english sisters, they are nice too, but I miss my hendricks pad so much. But I am all settled in and I hope I sleep well tonight! 

8/22/2024

7 MONTHS! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! Hna Crawford went on a walk and I just ran up and down the street with her. We started the day off strong with 2 lessons taught, a new friend made, and slurpees at 7 eleven. For lunch hna Gastulem made us Chile kilos. And hna crawford is actually an STL so me and hna gastelum went with sister shrader who I live with to do english finding hahah. It was so fun though because they both have only been in the mission field for 6 weeks now and they were asking me questions thinking I am experienced or whatever. I definitely grew my testimony. Overall good day. In exausted so I'm gonna go to bed 

8/23/24

Well guess what?! I live right next to a highschool that has a track?! like such a tender mercy from God. Ran 2 miles this morning and it was amazing. We had zone council today. And it is such a change from East LA! Like so much smaller but that is ok. Today was kinda slow. Gotta teach my comps how to work a little harder. But all will be well hahah. They are both pretty quiet so I'm constantly trying to get them to talk. But that is ok. We met some cool kids today and we taught four of them how to pray and made their mom a new friend. Also we played volleyball with the ward tonight. And I got one of the elders to sind Justin Beber with me.

8/24/2024

Today was interesting but good. We found some new friends and worked hard. today was a little hard know the funeral was today and I just got kinda homesick. But we got through it. Trying to become better friends with my companions and to just love them more honestly. One of them kinda reminds me of cousin Kate so it is kinda funny but yeah. Also dinner with all the elders is always interesting. Lots of our meals are usually pick up so we just eat at the church. Also got to be around some of the other sister today so that was fun. I definitely miss east la the work is just a little slower over here. But we work and the lord always consecrates. Also got an email from sister magleby today which helped and made things a little easier. But overall yeah a chill day and we ended it with some yogurt land and planning   

8-25.24

Wow today was crazy. My heart has been so full of prayer as I have been thinking about madsen and just my family and everything. I always try to get lost in the work but it is hard, We woke up and we had to be at ward correlation at 7! So the three of us got ready in 20 minutes. Then someone came to church to someone came in asked to for money and he got so mad cause we couldn’t do anything . But luis came to church and it was super cool we put him on date! We also taught a 13 year old girl about the book of mormon. We also had noche de hogar which was super cool and the members were super cool and we actually had a good member meal today. I wish yall could see how crazy it is with 7 missionaries where the elders are liteally just like children. Anyway and the night ended off super good with talking to madsen for his birthday! I hope he felt how grateful I am for him, because he truly is so amazing and I just wish I knew how I could help him!
