Dang today was so fun. I was having so much fun at soccer, I was zoomin up and down the field. I was doing so good. And we played basketball and once again I balled out hard core. Tonight was fun too. We witnessed a car wreck so that was crazy. Could have been us. I am glad To be watched over. Feeling blessed tonight 

7.16.2024

So I have officially learned that god has a whole other plan than what I think the day will go like. hahaha. We had a lesson with our friend Antonio this morning and he definetley has a desire to get baptized. But he is SO hard to understand like you have no idea! Zone council and district council was so good today. The zone changed quite a bit this transfer soo it is kinda weird. Had a lesson with our recent convert christian he is cool we listened to “hear him” by president nelson and it was just so powerfull and spiritual. Then we ate with the Perez family and they are soooo fun like always. We had some bussin icecream. After dinner something crazy happened. We headed to the park becuase our friend on date was supposed to meet us there but then he wasn’t there. But then one of our friends that we met the first week we were here and haven’t been able to get in contact with was there MIRACLE…but then our friend is on date showed up, so we split up and taught each of them. It was very intersting. But also very exciting! And to end the night I saw a freaking gourgeous sunset! I haven’t seen one in so long. It was the best thing ever! And tomorrow is mine and Hermana Smiths half birthdays hahah!!! Literally pumped!!a

7/17/2024

Today was so fun! Half birthday!! Woot woot! I ran up lots of staris for my workout today. Then I actually did my hair today. But you know how we are supposed to plan our day at 8:30, well we didn’t plan until like 8:50. We were busy doing Hermana Smiths hair and makeup. We ate lunch with our recent convert jose again. the restaruant was kinda mid not gonna lie. And the member meal tonight was so yummy though and apparently there is a lot of gosip is the relief society. And we went and took browinie to our mission ward leader and his wife and she gave us bracelets! Liteally so cute! And then we had english class tonight! So many people came. Our friend Jose came who we met on the 4th of july and we gave him a BOM. And hermana zavala is staying over here tonight, so I am so excited! And they brought us ice cream tonight for our half birthdays!

Today was definitely hard. Just lots of oppostion right before we head to the temple. I am excited but dang today was rough. We got through it though. Tomorrow is gonna be so good!

7/19/2024- TEMPLE DAY

Well I just got back from the temple and now I am doing my personal study. I thought I would take a second just to record my thoughts and feelings from the temple today. I didn’t really go in with question but i really just wanted to feel of the spirit and feel the strength of my ancestors and their love for me. The LA temple is so beautiful and so big! The endowment session you switch rooms like 4 different times and boy I am grateful because I be falling asleep. The experience their with half the mission was absolutley beautiful. The spirit in the celestial room was so insane. We sat in there for so long. Being surrounded by servants of god. And just wishing that everyone would except the gospel so one day so they could feel of the beautiful love of the savior. The temple prayer circle and the prayer that was given brought about everyone to tears. so many tthings and blession for us missionaries just in the room. Given a reassuance that my family is in the Lord’s hands and that this is the most important work. And then crossing through the viel and feeling the peace of my savior Jesus Christ. And sitting in the celestial room and praying to feel the love of Jane Littlewood, Velma emma, and Sister grimshaw, and then just knowing that they are there beside me. My heart is full of gratitude. I am exausted though right now, and I am lacking motivation. But once we got home me and hermana smith kneeled and said a prayer together in our little apartment asking for help and praying for our area and the other hermanas. God is good. I was thinking about the talk elder holland and about when we have heavenly experiences we must return to earth and it can be kinda scary. That is how I am feeling right now. I want to reminds in that temple, with that feeling forever.

7-21- 2024

Well today was just kinda meh. We tught the gospel principles class today and didn’t go the best. It wasn’t like it was bad but it also was just kinda not deep. It is hard to go deep when you don’t have a super wide vocab. But that is ok. An Hermana in church I went to go sit by her and she gave me her charm bracelet! How cute is that! So speacial! We had lots of guys flirt with us on the street today. Kinda sucky but that is how it goes. Me and hermana smith just had fun together today. We also fasted for our area and our friends today so I have faith that something good witll come out of it.
