One Week in the Field- Welcome to the California Arcadia Mission

- Only been here for one week and have grown to love the people so much! Especially our ward! Half the time I don't know what they are saying 😅, but I love giving all the sisters hugs!


- Met Gustavo and Marce! They are a mom and a son! They are super interested in the gospel! I tought Gustavo to say a prayer and told him that if he said a prayer in our lesson that I would play 1v1 basketball with Him...so obviously he said the prayer!

-Taught an English class! Invited our friend Karen in the class to come to church and she came!! 

-Played soccer with the youth in our ward! I love kids so much so honestly the best day ever 

-Going to explore some new areas in our zone this week! Praying that the lord will lead us to where we need to go!

2 Nephi 10: 23-24
23 Therefore, cheer up your hearts, and remember that ye are free to act for yourselves—to choose the way of everlasting death or the way of eternal life. 24 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, reconcile yourselves to the will of God, and not to the will of the devil and the flesh; and remember, after ye are reconciled unto God, that it is only in and through the grace of God that ye are saved.

Life is full of choices! Choose to follow the way of eternal life! Becuase when you do you experience many miracles!!!

Well today was long but filled with lots of good things. I got my heart rate up to 180 this morning. It literally felt so good. We had goal setting as a zone this morning, cool to see the zone come together and make goals to help fulfill the fathers will. personal study today was good. I am so close to finishing the book of mormon. I really liked Ether 15:34. Just how it refers to doing the lords will, which is something that I am not the best at. Today the lord concecrated our efforts. We got a super prepared refferal who wants to learn more about the book of mormon. And the other one literally ran into us on the way back to our car. Seven Months in the field

 Hey Hermana, Hi there, madsen, maleck, dad and myself are on our way to St. George to Raeghan’s farewell. Notes from Raeghan’s talk-  Song- child of light God knows and blessed each one of us Individually before we came to earth. Raeghan bore testimony of this   we can understand our mission on earth as we come to know Jesus Christ, personally. Personal prayer, church attendance- blessed her life- family and friends blessed her life too! “ what you do during the private times of your life will greater impact how you approach and combat struggle.- elder lBangherter Families are forever- gratitude for temples.
