What is up fam bam.?

This week was crazy! Also my dad told me I sound like a Mexican when I speak English now so I'm gonna have to change that and binge watch duck dynasty when I get home. Hahah mentida kinda 

- GOT MY NEW COMP! She is from st George! We literally have been having the best time ever! 

-everything with ICE is so crazy down here! It has been so hard to find people. Usually, every one is out and about but it's like a ghost town out here. We were just drinking, and we were at a red light and 3 big trucks full of army guys crossed the road. It wa low key kinda scary 

-maria is on date for the 29th! Pray for her! She is one of the most prepared people ove met! Apparetey she was gonna get baptized like 30 years ago but didn't pass the interview for what ever reason 

-a family of 7 pulled up to sports night best thing ever. They were gonna come to church but didn't because of ice 

-hna zavala went home this week. And I didn't think I was gonna be able to see her before she left. But i got to see her!!! And hug her mom and sister!!! So proud of her. Plus I got to watch a little bit of her homecoming talk on zoom with a member sooooo #miracle 

I have been reading the book of Mormon a lot lately. And yesterday in church member gave of talk relating 3 Nephi 8 & 11 2-hour times and it was one of the most powerful talk I have ever heard sacrament meeting before. I have never felt so strongly that the book of Mormon was written for our times. As he and spiritual both testified so strongly, I once again relieved a testimony that the book of Mormon is true. And as he promised all of us yesterday, I can promise you all today that if you read the book of Mormon every day and keep your covenants we need not be scared of the times we are living in. Oh how grateful I am to be a missionary, to bring the world HIS truth.

6/11/25

Last transfer wow. So many emotions. I'm so excited. We went to transfers and I saw hna zavala and she had gotten released. I cried yes. I saw her family and got to hug her mom amd sister. It was so special. I love them. I speant the day with hna Wright amd her companion until my como got here. And guess what my comp is from st george!!!! Can you believe it!!! She is so cool! She talks a lot, and she has the cutest personality ever. We already get along pretty well so I'm excited! Everything just feels right! So, I am so grateful!!

Wow! These last couple days have been so fun!!! Hna Bennett is so cool. Ans she just talks a lot and it's so fun we get along well. We workout with each other in the mornings hahah! It's been hard to find people lately just because everything is so intense right now. Lots of riots and ice is pretty much everywhere. But we have had some good lessons still! Hna Bennett is still trying to find her confidence, but she has got it. Our friends Rafael and Arecely are doing a lot better. We found out good news about the whole marriage situation. they just need to go and apply for a certificate! We also taught our friend Diana the restoration and it was super good!! She seemed to enjoy it! And most importantly understand it. And feel the spirit. We had a lesson with our friend Maria that came to church and out her on date. Apparently, she wanted to get baptized 30 years ago but the bishop said no or something. And her brother is a member and her son Apparently! And don't worry we already talked about the law of chastity. And she is married with her husband, but they want to get married and if they don't, she understood she understands sje will have to move out.

So Sunday was good. Ysa ward didn't happen. The family didn't end up coming to church sadly. But that is ok. We still had 6 friends come! It was great! We literally could not find a single person to teach yesterday. That has never happened to me before. Like no one. It's the opposition. But in the night, we taught some of our friends so that is good. Maria we still got to figure stuff out with her. She really wants to be baptized but she just isn't keeping the law of chastity. anyway, my comp is literally so awesome. She is adjusting to missionary life, which is hard, so I'm trying to help her the best I can. But I've been reading in 3 and 4th Nephi and wow. I'm so excited for Christ to come. Because this contention in the world Is just not good. I feel like I've never had the bom relate so much for my life before. Definitely An eternal truth I have to come to keep deep in my heart.
