Hola gente como estamos???? I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY. ITS A VIBE

-So we have district council every week, but this zone and stake has a goal of getting around 208 baptisms this year which is insane... so we have one of the counselors from the mission presidency come before DC to give us more counsel on how to help our friends and be better missionaries, so it's basically a zone council it's great

-We met so many cool people this week!! And we finally found some friends for the YSA ward. Let's just hope the pull up to church

-Our friend Alex pulled up to institute, but we got talking about covenants and baptism and everything and it turned out like him bashing everyone there... it was awkward

-My friends in Chino, Acencion and Tonio are getting baptized!!! I hope I will be able to get back!! It would ne super great! So proud of them!!

-We had interviews with president 🙌 always a highlight of the week. What a great guy

-We also did service at a catholic church it was fun. It so fun being able to help people that are struggling with food and stuff!!

-We did a car fast in 100-degree weather. We talked to a ton of people! We got cat called twice, we got free mangos, a cupcake from missionaries from another church, and walked like 10 miles. But I LOVE CAR FASTS they bring so many miracles

-Our friends Romario, Rafael, and Vanessa come to church! Rafael has been coming for a while, please pray that he will be ready for baptism! And Romario was a Facebook refferal, and he has friends that served missions!! And vanessa is just another case, but she is cool. Pray for her!

I've been reading a book from sister holland. And a quote that I love SOOO MUCH and want to share it with yall

" What we too often fail to release is that at the same time we covenant with God. He is covenanting with us. Promising blessings, privileges and pleasures. Our eyes have not yet seen and our ears. Have not yet heard though. We may see our part in the matter as faithfulness. Going by fits and starts by bumps and bursts here and there. God's part is sure and steady and supreme. We may stumble, but he never does. We may falter, but he never will. We may fill out of control, but he never is the reason. The keeping of covenants is so important to us is at least partly because it makes the contact so binding to God"

Les amo mucho

Journal Recap

5/6/25 Tuesday
Wow what a day. It was fun. We haven't seen the sun here in about a week now, and it is starting to get kinda depressing. We had a district council meeting today. It is weird being back in a Spanish zone but definitely a blast. We found out that we are no longer aloud to have district lunches or sisters' lunches. So freaking lame. I'm so sad. basically our day was nothing like we thought it was gonna be. But we saw so many cool lead miracles and I played soccer at a park today with a 8 year old boy. He thought I was pretty good hahah. We also went and got icecream at a place I went to a year ago with hna marble. Fosslemans,, super delicious. All and all good day

5/8/25
Wellllll… I don't Really remember what has happened the last couple of days, but I know it has been good. We had interviews today. They were good. I'm not really sure what we talked about. But yeah all is well. Me and prez were both getting sad that our time is coming to an end. He sure Has helped me grow a lot. Crazy crazy. But anyway the sun came out today! Yayayayay!!! So amazing! What a great time. We walked for probably 2.5 hours just talking to people. And this one guy yelled at us out his car window and then we shares about the restoration with him. Super powerful. Said he is gonna come to church on Sunday. Oh and yesterday we had an institute and the institute teacher, her aunt is Mindy Benson and she goes to cedar a lot. So that was fun. 🔥 live laugh loving the mission life. God is good.

So the rest of the week was kinda blur and went by actually quite slow. Saturday, we walked 10 miles in 100 degrees. It was great. Got sunburnt, cat called, free food, and lots of weird experiences. But all is well. Sunday our friends came to church!!! YAYAYAY. What a great day. We also got free ice cream Sunday too. Prayers were answered. Homemade mango ice cream. Bussin. Then we ate stakes for dinner. SO GOOD. And we actually found people to teach for the YSA ward. It was great. We ended Up teach 56 lesson this week and made 15 new friends which is really really high. So, it was a successful week most definitely!
