What a week!

 WHAT A WEEK

May 19, 2025

-We celebrated my comps 20th birthday, WOOT WOOT WOOT shoutout hna Cardozo 

-FAT MILAGRO we went to a part members home, where the dad isnt a member. The elders had been stopping by in the past but we heard rumors that the ly liked Hermanas more, so we went over and the room was just packed full of the spirit. They said we could come back hurray!

-so, our YSA ward is lowkey dying a little but anyway we taught institute on Wednesday, and I got to see Diana a memeber from el barrio de los Altos, anyway if you can pray that we can baptize some ysa peeps that would be great 

- Rafael us on date for June 1st!!!! He is so prepared! We are working with his wife still but she isn't totally for it but God is gonna provide miracles fs

-I got to go on exchanges for like 5 hours with one of my old comps hna gastelum while my comp went to the temple. Literally the best day of my whole life I miss her 

-we visited a friend in the hospital amd we had the most spiritual experience with her and then we went to her sister's house to pray with her so that she could feel the spirit, and we gave her a bom and she cried and hugged it when we gave it to her. 

-on exchanges my comp and stl were in my area and well they had a little accident, so we might be without a car lol

So, our whole mission is reading the BOM all together right now in the time that Joseph Smith translated and let me tell you I LOVE IT, I'm also reading it in spanish again so it is really cool anyway....

Journal Recap

5/16/25 Friday

So, I have not written in my journal this whole week. And a lot has happened. So let me catch you up.

-Monday we went to go teach this part member family, which the elders were technically teaching but we heard rumors that they like hnas better. Anyway, it was a super fire lesson. The spirit was super strong. The family is so cool. The mom Raquel is a member, the dad gererdardo who isn't The member, and he is also super jacked hahah and the son Santi who is a recent convert and is also 9 years old. So fun. Then we had bday dinner with the Becerrils for hna Cardozo. It was bussin. She was happy.

Tuesday- we visited this cool inactive Member. She is so sweet. Used to be super active, but her fam is like they don't want her to go to church so sad

Wednesday- we did a super big service in Pasadena for the fire victims. Just like helping them get the supplies they needed or something it was fun. We also taught at the institute, and I saw a member from Los Altos there so it was extra fun! I loved it. We also visited another inactive family. Juan and Rosalva. They said they would come to church next Sunday and feed us! Yay! Super fun!

Thursday- we put Rafael on date for June 1st! It was an exhausting lesson. But he said he would be down to do it. His wife is also taking the lessons, but she isn't too sure about it, so please pray for them

So, Saturday was a crazy day. We had exchanges and it was an interesting day. We were fasting as a zone for miracles so it was interesting though, I was very hungry hahah. BUT it was fun. I got to go back to el molina which is where I was with hna marbles so lots of memories flooded back. We went to this one family we used to visit. And they still remembered me! I can't remember their names, but it was so good to see them again! but our evening was crazy beciase we went to pass by an hna but her nephew told us she was in the hospital. So, we went to the hospital and Norma was just not doing good. And she was telling us that she just doesn't think it is worth it to keep living anymore. And the whole time I was just thinking that she needed to be baptized, and she could find so much more joy. It really just changed my perspective and helped me realize how grateful I am to be a missionary. It was really Powerful especially because we were able to kneel by her bedside to say a prayer with her. Then she asked us to stop by her sisters house and pray with her, amd she was so happy we came to being the spirit into her home. We have a bom and she just teared up. But also that night we found out my comp and one of the stls got in a little car accident  so we will be without a car for a little while. But anyway 3 of Our friends came to church today! Yayayay! So exctied! 

And a couple weeks ago we met this guy in the parking lot. anyway, he called us a few days ago and we're super hyped because we thought he was just a friend right? But anyway, he is a member, and we found out he was a member in the middle of our lesson. Kinda crazy and sad but that is ok. But we gonna help Angel come back to church
