Journal Entries July 8-14 2024

 7/8/2024

Well today was definitely a harder one but god is good and helped me find some joy. It's amazing to see h9w much more I turn to my savior now. After talking on the phone with mom this morning and crying I immediately got to my knees to beg the lord for some strength. After hermna G who I don't always get along with came And held me why I cried. We also had a little breakfast for hermana marble to just spend some time with her before she goes home. We visited our friend Maria today and I gave her a hug and it was just one of the best hugs I think I have ever felt. It was just pure love for her. Love that only comes through the Savior. We then found a family!! She is so cute! I am so happy we met her! She doesn't go to church so we hope she can come this Sunday. We then had a lesson with delfino. It was so spiritual. I tried talking some of stocktons advice. But he turned down our bap invite. He just keeps saying that he is not ready l. So oh well. I go to bed to night being full of joy and gratitude!

7/10/2024

The last two days have been actually insane. I have cried and laughed a whole lot. Yesterday we got transfer news and me and hermana smith are staying together. Super stoked about that! Yesterday we taught a guy who believes that the spirit is the prophets so don’t really know how to teach to that. We also had a lesson with Victor and felipe and put them on date to be baptized!!! For the 28th of July! Super crazy! But we think we are going to pass them off becuase I think they only like us coming over becuase we are girls who talk about god…so that is awkward! Yesterday afternoon we went with Hermana Marble and Hermana G to drop Hna Marble off for a dinner, so we got to trio so that was super fun! This mornining saying goodbye to Hna Marble was probably one hardest things ever I did infact ball my eyes out. Yesterday morning we went on our last run together and I helped her pack too, it was intense it was way to much emotion to handle. But I got through it. Today we saw so many miracles! We made a couple new friends and we had a cool lesson with a lady I used to teach my first transfer. But after that I almost pooped my pants. It was scary. Then we had a member meal at 3:30 so that was strange! And then after we found this really cool guy in the park who had lots of questions about the plan of salvation. Then we had a super long lesson with our friend cessar and we put him on date to be baptized July 28th as well!!! And then while we were walking in the streets we found an old friend and now she doesn’t have work in the mornings and we are going to meet her this saturday and she is GOING TO MAKE US CREPES!! I literally did cry! Like no cap. Best day ever! And then after we had a super lit lesson witha new friend we made last week! And the Hermana that replaced hermana marble is literally so lit! She is a college volleyball player DI and she has the most hipe attitued! So YUHHHHHHHH and I get to meet with Jen tomorrow so I am so sososososo happy!!

7/11/2024

Well I met ŵith jen today amd she said she is resigning. So that was awful. I literally cried. But she is gonna make sure I keep meeting with someone cause I think it is just helpful for me to talk to someone throughout the week. We made a new friend today and he said he wants to he baptized. Is super prepared. Had dinner with Hermana Seranno sje is dope. And then was at a members house for 1.5 hours. But it's ok she invited us to dinner tomorrow. My goal for this transfer is to dive deep into the work and just choose to be happy. We shall see how it goes 

7/12/2024 

Today was super crazy. We did weekly planning in McDonald's so I heard a lot of Taylor Swift and even some country music. Beat day ever. Met a new family in the park! They are so cool. They just moved here! The member we ate with tonight fed us so much. I am going to explode. And tomorrow we have 3 meals! I'm scared hahah! We met the new missionary tonight she is 24 and is from Lima Peru and speaks no English. She is cool. 

7/13/2024

So today went way differently than we had planned haha! Ran 2 miles worth of hills today so that was fire. And I thought we were going to have crepes with a friend today but she wasnt home saddest moment ever. BUT Maleck texted me and it acutally made my entire day! I almost started crying because I was so happy he hadn’t forgotten about me. Jose took us out to eat at a Salvadoranion place today and it was actually so good! And after we went and had a lesson with our friend Maria ! I love seeing her she is like my grandma here, her hugs are the best! And then we spent two hours in the park helping a member write her talk for church but her cute doughters were there and they were also having an event at the park so I was jamming out to music the whole time! And then we ended the night with a lesson with delfino and got some ice cream to end the night. And then we just heard all about Hermana Thomson love life and how her boyfriend is a D1 athlete and is getting drafted for the NFL,,,so litearlly so cool! 

7/14/2024

Well today was weird… we had church amd then we study stacked. Our recent convert Mary gave a great talk in sacrament she is cool! I took a nap in my personal study today. I need to slow down by like 10 percent so I have energy to do everything. Found a cool family tonight and we forgot to ask if we could come back. so I don't even know where I am going with this. But I have started reading two other books and they are bussin!
