50 Is going to be Fabulous!

Hey sis, my birthday week and last week of summer were epic! I don’t think 50 will be so bad after all. 

Monday- Anniversary getaway was a blast. Dad, was so sweet and kind and truly spoiled me rotten! Our hike was hard, but oh so worth it. 

Tuesday- I ironed my entire my closet- I want to be ready for school. I also set up my classsroom- ready or not here I come.

Wednesday- ran errands, cleaned house etc. in the evening, I went to Suzanne’s house and watched a movie- so fun!

Thursday- we watched maleck play football. He is one of two sophomores who got a locker! He scored and epic touchdown- one handed, and he dressed for varsity. I went to the play with my cv teacher friends to support Mrs Barrick- she of course was the star or the show.

Friday- your birthday call started my day off just right- hiking at cedar breaks with Stockton and maleck, picnic in Stockton’s backyard. I went to the temple and did Initiatory, got a pedicure, enjoyed birthday dinner with the family, blew out my birthday candles. Grandma and grandpa came- so much fun!

Saturday- we shopped until we dropped- maleck got some cool clothes!

It has been a great week, and a good way to end summer. Monday is my first day back… woot woot!! Go Falcons!

Family update- 


Seleck, Leydi, and Bella- doing well as far as I know. They sent me a cute sunshine basket for my birthday.
Stockton and Amanda- so much fun- it feels like Amanda is getting back to herself again. Stockton is helpful and sweet.
Madsen- struggling but hanging on. Therapy seems to be going okay. We played scrabbled until midnight on my birthday. He can be sooo sweet.
Maleck- he detailed my car for my birthday. After I asked him to 🤩he is so grown up, eats A LOT, talks LITTLE.

Travis-he is such a great dad and husband. I am so grateful for him. Here is to another 29 years🙌🙌. He is really loving the Olympics….. did you kayaking is an Olympic sport?

Well that’s the update. I can’t wait to get your letters tomorrow with your updates. It really starts my week off great! I love you Emma and I am so grateful to have you as my daughter and my best friend. Keep up the great work and be sure to make everyday count!

Well today was long but filled with lots of good things. I got my heart rate up to 180 this morning. It literally felt so good. We had goal setting as a zone this morning, cool to see the zone come together and make goals to help fulfill the fathers will. personal study today was good. I am so close to finishing the book of mormon. I really liked Ether 15:34. Just how it refers to doing the lords will, which is something that I am not the best at. Today the lord concecrated our efforts. We got a super prepared refferal who wants to learn more about the book of mormon. And the other one literally ran into us on the way back to our car.  Hey Hermana, Hi there, madsen, maleck, dad and myself are on our way to St. George to Raeghan’s farewell. Notes from Raeghan’s talk-  Song- child of light God knows and blessed each one of us Individually before we came to earth.
